Each and every year the President has the honour of nominating their chosen charity. Tony Hadley chose The Huntington’s Disease Association
to support this year.

TRIC Chairman Mike Chandler chosen charity this year was the Teenage Cancer Trust, Dr Adrian Whiteson OBE and Myrna Whiteson MBE Chairmen, collected the cheque on behalf of the charity.

Mike Chandler has been Chairman of TRIC for three years; he has done a great job and we are very grateful for all his support. Nick Gregory, our new Chairman presented him with an engraved TRIC Award and his present.

Nick is supporting the charity SOS Children UK.


The lunch was not only a time to say goodbye to Tony but to welcome our new President Eamonn Holmes for the coming year.

It is a tradition to invite our Past Presidents to join us at the TRIC events so we were very pleased to welcome Sir Bernard Ingham, June Whitfield CBE with her friend Annie Bond, Tom O' Connor with his wife Pat and our good friends and supporters of TRIC James Alexander Gordon and his wife Julia. Eamonn Holmes guests this year were his SKY colleagues, Charlotte Hawkins and Jacquie Beltrao.
